I use this technique in my comics, mostly for dynamic expressions and (with a large brush on a very low opacity) the multicolored shading. If you own a tablet, you absolutely have to do this setup.... Using Ubuntu 12.04 I was able to get 2.8 to handle pressure sensitivity right out of the box--but it could have been because I had just launched & closed 2.6 and had both installed side-by-side. Like I said, this is a bit more cumbersome than the solution 2blackbar suggested above but I figured it was worth sharing.

No pressure sensitive in Krita 2.8.7 / Applications
Note that the pressure sensitivity works on MyPaint, Sketchable, Mischief, Graphiter but not on Sketchbook pro. If that can help. It works fine, all the default brushes are there, but my tablet's pressure sensitivity won't work. how to put pictures in a used picture frame If your Ugee works with Krita without issues please let us know, then we might have to consider upgrading to QT 5 somehow (I’m unsure how to do that to be honest without help) so other tablet brands can be properly recognized by the software.

How To Put Pressure Sensitivity In Krita
Krita isn't much fun without a pressure sensitive tablet. Krita uses the Qt library to provide the application interface and the tablet support. Right now, on Linux, Qt only supports Wacom tablets. There is a patch that makes some other tablets work on Linux, but Qt hasn't integrated it yet. The Krita developers only tested on Wacom tablets.
- With a properly installed tablet stylus, Krita can use information like pressure sensitivity, allowing you to make strokes that get bigger or smaller depending on the pressure you put on them, to create richer and more interesting strokes.

- I installed latest Arch64 and Krita 2.8.7 but I got no pressure sensitive in Krita for my tablet. Then I tried in GIMP and MyPaint, in both of them my tablet work well.
